Are you licensed?
Absolutely. Our DOT license is MC/ICC 327981.

Are your drivers bonded and insured?
Absolutely – all of them.

How does AUTOCARRY work to ensure that my vehicle arrives on time, and undamaged?
We start with comprehensive, best-practice processes drawn from our 25 years’ experience. But what matters most is our drivers. We hire only quality, trained professionals with extensive experience in auto transportation. Then, we school and train them ourselves to make sure they understand our standards and procedures, and share our commitment to excellence.

How will my vehicle be insured? And what happens if there’s damage during my auto shipping?
We insure your vehicle with a $600 deductible. Damage caused by our truck during auto truckaway service is covered, subject to the deductible. Events outside our control -- such as hailstorms, fluids dripping from your car, or vandalism -- are not covered.

How much advance notice do you need to transport my vehicle?
Although we prefer up to 23 days notice, we can accommodate your car hauling with as little as 7 days notice.

How many days will it take for my vehicle to arrive at its destination?
That depends on distance, among other factors. If your vehicle is being moved via auto truckaway service -- in other words, on a truck carrying more than one vehicle -- we provide arrival time frames. If your vehicle is being driven to its destination by an individual driver ("auto driveaway" service), we can typically provide a specific delivery date. Please note that federal law now limits drivers to only eight hours of driving per day, regardless of traffic or other issues, and this can impact schedules.

How will you inform me when my vehicle arrives?
We’ll call you to let you know – and we’ll give you enough notice for you to make plans to receive your vehicle.

Does AUTOCARRY offer door-to-door vehicle relocation service?
Yes, your car can typically be delivered to your door, unless you request for it to be delivered elsewhere.

Can someone else pick up my vehicle?
Yes. Please let us know in advance, preferably when you place your order.

What should I do to get my vehicle ready for transport?
First, please make sure there are no protruding parts that could be damaged, such as antennas. Second, remove any "after-market" parts. Third, if your car is equipped with an alarm, please prepare it for shipment, so it will not sound during transport. Also, be sure to remove any form of E-ZPass as well.

Can I leave personal items or household goods in my vehicle while you’re moving it?
Sorry, unfortunately not. United States Department of Transportation regulations prohibit this. As a result, items you leave in your vehicle aren’t covered by vehicle transportation insurance. Moreover, they can cause damage to your vehicle by moving around, or place your vehicle at greater risk for theft.

Does my vehicle need to be in working order?
No. However, there are additional costs if the car doesn’t run.

Can you store my vehicle until I’m ready to pick it up?
Yes. Three days of storage is free of charge. We charge approximately $8 per day after that, depending on location.

Does AUTOCARRY handle specialty vehicles such as classic cars or exotic auto transport?
Yes. We ship specialty vehicles in safely enclosed trucks.

Do you serve "snowbirds"?
Absolutely! In fact, we specialize in express service to Florida and other warm-climate locations for individuals who travel south for the winter. Just email us for more information!

What forms of payment does AUTOCARRY accept?
